Under the Hood With Knight Rider 2.0: Trans Am vs. Ford Mustang ...

I love my GREY Honda civic. Who wants to drive kitt!! 2600. Hmmm... I'd just like to point out that the new KITT features 24 Hr Roadside Assistance as an attribute... apparently this is something a Ford based KITT requires. ;) 2599. RE: Under the Hood With Knight Rider 2.0: Trans Am vs. Ford Mustang (Featuring Exclusive New KITT Specs—and Classic Hasselhoff!) Why the heck would they make this a Ford Mustang? I can guarantee I won't watch this one, and I was a huge fan of the original KITT! 2598. KITT Hey, I have an idea, how about Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo / 3000GT ? It's a nice car ... Do you think that they will crash 1 Shelby 500GT in the making of this movie ? ^^ 2597. Prodigy takes a bow

Shortly before 7 a.m., she quickly eats some cereal and rushes off to catch the school bus.

Aishu, who specializes in Indian and jazz music, juggles her violin practices and solo concerts while playing for the Poly jazz band and studying in the honors program at the school.

She has performed concerts in India, Finland, Boston, San Diego, San Francisco and at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

Another achievement that sets her apart from other young violinists: She has been accepted to Boston's Berklee College of Music, where she is studying during summers to earn enough credits to get a bachelor's degree at the same time she receives her high school diploma.

Combining studying for school with hours of practicing each day leaves little time during the week for what most people consider relaxing - talking on the phone, watching television, reading.

The mysteries of sleep

Forgetfulness can be understood in many ways as absent-mindedness, transient loss of memory and persistently failing to recollect something very usual and important. Frequent memory lapses are likely to be noticeable because they tend to adversely influence day-to-day life.

Dementia and Alzheimers disease are other serious but separate conditions which not only badly affect a persons cognitive functions by the progressive degeneration of brain cells but also make him oblivious of his surroundings or even doing normal chores like handling personal hygiene.

Experts have found various reasons for memory loss. These include certain medicines like antihistamines, anti-anxiety medications and antidepressants, heavy use of alcohol, stress and emotional trauma and depression causing lack of attention and finding it difficult to remain focused.

Genes behind drug addiction tracked

Chinese scientists have found a way to track genes and biological pathways linked to drug addiction, unraveling potential ways to treat drug abuse and disorders.

"We have found 396 addiction-related genes and identified five pathways that are common to addiction to four different substances: cocaine, opium, nicotine and alcohol," the director of the center for bioinformatics of the life science college under Peking University, Wei Liping, told China Daily yesterday.

"The research provides a more complete picture of drug addiction, as genetic factors contribute to about 60 percent of the vulnerability to drug addiction," she said.

Wei said identifying common pathways meant that treatment targeting these pathways may be more effective for a wide range of addictive disorders.

Last week's headlines

Although Maryland has plenty of doctors, it doesn't have enough who see patients, the head of the state medical society said last week. While the state has about 25,000 licensed physicians, nearly 40 percent are engaged in teaching, research and administrative duties.
